Her Birth Place

Subject: Her Birth Place Sun Feb 08, 2015 12:49 am

Seren slowed to a trot when she made it to the field. Her tail waved in excitement as she entered the realm. She hadn't been back since her father had passed away but she had wanted to show the brute her favorite place, something else she didn't quite understand. She wanted to share these important things with him and it amazed her. She came to a stop and the looked back to Fortis.

The brute smiled when she looked back to him. "This place would be beautiful in spring, I imagine." He said looking around. His tassel moved back and forth slowly, "Oh I almost forgot." He said and threw some snow at Seren, chuckling.

The rustic colored female listened to Forits words and was about to speak when she was interuptted by snow being thrown at her warm dry pelt. She narrowed her blue grey eyes and flicked her tassel as she watched the brown and tan colored brute. A small grin formed on her lips before darting forward to knock the male onto the wet ground. She gently used her forepaw to press down onto his flank while she used her other paw to scoop some snow up onto his multi-colored pelt as pay back for throwing snow at her.

"Yes, it is a beautiful place." She finally was able to say once she finished with placing the snow on him. Her tail wagged gently back and forth as she removed her forepaw from his flank.

Fortis laughed again and was caught off guard as she pushed him to the wet ground. He laid there accepting his fate as she piled snow on top of him. When she let off him, he stood shaking the snow in all directions. He smirked, some of it had landed and stuck to her rustic pelt. "Now we're even." He said still laughing. He liked being around her, there was something about the Fae, he just couldn't tell yet.

The female smiled and then shook her pelt ridding herself of the flecks of snow that now coated her rustic colored pelt thanks to the brute. Her plum wagged with excitement as her blind looking gaze shifted from the male to the lands and then back to the brown and tan brute. Seren perked her ears and watched Fortis for a long moment before her cheeks warmed with embarrassment and her heart pounded quickly from just standing there and watching him.

She turned her head away and looked at the big bare oak tree. The one with a large bush sat beside it covered in snow. It was her birth place. Hidden under the large shrubbery was a hole large enough for a pregnant female to squeeze into, that led down a small tunnel to a birthing den. Not many knew of this area and even fewer knew of the den that lay hidden a short distance beneath the ground under the bush. It's where she hoped to one day have her own pups if she was ever blessed with them. If she could ever find a mate.

Her tail wagged at the thought as she stood there quietly watching the tree and the bush that was a decent 100 feet in front of her. Seren closed her eyes picturing herself with pups and a mate and to her surprise she pictured Fortis. The red females eyes blinked open and suddenly she realized her feelings. 'I like the brute.. but does he like me..' She asked herself as she glanced back to Fortis and gave him a sweet smile as many thoughts ran through her cranium.

The mixed colored brute returned Seren's friendly smile. She seemed lost in thought, tilting his head he asked, "What are you thinking about?" He glanced away for a second and right to himself, What would he and rain have been? Frowning, he looked to Seren, it hit him, he didn't like Rain, he liked Seren. He moved his tassel back and forth slowly. Why did she show him this place?

She was pulled deep out of her thoughts when the brute spoke. Her eyes meet his and embarrassment flooded through the she-wolf. If it wasn't for the fur that covered her body you'd be able to see flushed skin. She wasn't sure what to tell the male. She didn't even know if she knew the truth about her feelings and she definitely didn't want to expose them at the moment so she told him about what she had been thinking just moments before Fortis popped into her mind.

"The tree over there," Seren said as she flicked her tail in that direction. Her blue grey eyes met his and her body warmed once more. She felt comfortable around him. She enjoyed his presence and didn't want the male to leave. She wanted him at her side.

"and... you." the rustic pelted female said as she blinked her eyes calmly and twisted her auds listening for unwanted sounds. The three and a half year old she-wolf took in a deep breath and then stepped forward, closing in the gap between her and Fortis.

"I like you," she said giving him a gentle nuzzle for a brief moment before stepping back, not giving the brown and tan male enough time to react.

"but you just lost Rain and you may not even like me back.." Seren said as she spoke to the male. She wasn't exactly sure what else she could say to him.

He froze for a minute, the Fae didn't didn't give him enough time to react. He wanted to like her.
"Don't worry, I don't think she would have wanted me to stay focused on her memory anyways." He said. He closed the gap in between them, nuzzling her, an stayed there for a second, taking in her scent. It was beautiful, she was beautiful.
"Decoris." He whispered. It was Latin for beautiful. He flicked his gaze back up to her blind one. He held it for a second, then backed up lowering his head in embarrassment.

A smile lit up the females visage. She was pleased with that she heard from the male and it made her feel much better about what she had said to the male. Her tail waved with excitement as the brute had nuzzled her but a confused look passed over her face when he spoke the words, decoris. She hadn't a clue as for what that meant. When the brute backed away the red pelted she felt a sudden rush of sadness go through her. She wanted to be close to him.

Her gaze was fixated on the brute. Her blue grey eyes watched him with curiosity. The word decoris repeated through her head as she tried to figure out what it meant. Tilting her cranium slightly she spoke up, "What does decoris mean?" Seren asked in a sweet gentle voice as she slid back onto her haunches.

He smiled softly, "it's Latin for Beautiful." He stated. His gaze flicked to the tree she had mentioned.

"What's special about the tree? If you don't mind me asking, of course." He asked tilting his head. He wanted to know why this place was so important to Seren, he wanted to know her better. He glanced at the rustic hued Fae everynow and then.

Her orbs shifted to the tree before looking back to the brown and tan male. Her tail slid back and forth across the terrain as she glanced back to the tree once more. "It's my birth den." Seren said as she looked back to Fortis.

"I've always imagined having my own pups here one day." the multi-colored she-wolf spoke in almost a hushed tone. She enjoyed being in this area and she enjoyed being with the brute but being with him at the very location that means the most to her meant even more having the brute there with her. She hoped that one day maybe they'd become mates.

He nodded his head. The mixed colored brute smiled faintly. He remembered his old birth den.

It was a small little hole underneath a large bolder. Big enough for a pregnant fae and two pups. That was the problem he had though. He was the biggest out of his siblings. He often slept outside under the starry sky. He loved the night sky, it always seemed to change wherever he went. He let his eyes un-focus as he drifted off.

The female watched him for a long moment. She could tell he was in thought. Her plume swished back and forth as she waited patiently for him to linger away from his thoughts. The she-wolf shifted her posture from a sitting position to a laying position. Her blue grey eyes watched the Knight of her pack in wonder. They admitted to liking one another but could they ever be mates? She hadn't a clue but she did want to find out. She was comfortable with him and she admired him.

He shook his head slightly. What was he doing? He turned his head to Seren, who, to his surprise, was laying down. He gave her a soft smile and wondered. What if they actually became mates, and she had her pups here like she wanted? What would that make him? He sat down, pondering over the thoughts, but kept his head in reality.

He turned his head sharply to a small rabbit breaking a twig. he shook his head once more, Why was he so jumpy? He started to think out loud,

"Seren, could we ever be mates?" he asked. He wasn't sure, but if she said they could then he would have liked to be. He enjoyed Seren's company and he adored her. He chuckled. He could be her knight in shinning armour. Not that she's ever need it though, of course.
